March Family Germany Trip

Hallo all,
Wanted to let you know that we have all made it home safely. There were many delays but in the end we are all back on American soil and very happy about it!
I will be uploading some images today so watch for those.
The whole trip was a very amazing & educational experience for all of us. We are all very tired and trying to recover from jet lag and just plain lack of sleep. I don't think we slept more than 5 hours a night for the past week or so.

Went to Oktoberfest Thursday and had an absolute blast!
We met our friends there and thez showed us the ropes, we found a tent right away and got seats bz 2pm, we then proceeded to sit there and drink till about 9pm!
Mom, Nichole, LInda & I found another tent that served wine and ended up stazing there for hours, we sang, we danced alongside Germans zoung and old and just laughed so hard it was not even funny. These guys no how to partz hands down!
We ate giant pretzels that were delicious, brats on kaiser rolls with mustard and just plain had fun. We prettz much wanted to staz the night in our wine tent with all those people, thez suddenlz become your family. We all promised each other we would be back next year same date and time to do it all over again!
Language is not an issue when it comes to drinking, dancing and having fun.
Gotta run, we are heading to Munich again to look around before leaving for home on Sat.
PS we loved Prague too! An amazinglz beautiful citz!

Just wanted to let zou know that I have found some german cigars in my moms home town of Gonsenheim! I look forward to giving them to you. Still looking for Karlas clock but havent given up zet!
Pam I have a hooded sweatshirt with the well know Deutsland eagle on it.
Looking forward to seeing zou all soon. I have to admit Im so tired I can hardlz staz awake but we just keep trucking along. Been a real amaying experience to saz the least.
Been rainz here since zesterdaz and verz humid. The sun broke thru for a little bit todaz.

After a very stressful start we have made it to Mitterfels, we are almost on the Czech Republic border. Brenda left this morning for her flight and we assume she has made it back to Tulsa, she leaves for Idaho on Tuesday morning.
We are in whats considered teh Bavarian area of Germany. It is verz beautiful, lots & lots of trees and forest around us. In fact zou cannot see towns because of all the trees.
So far our plans are to go to Passau tomorrow on a bus tour and boat cruise on the Danube River. Wednesday will be a bus tour of Prague, we can hardlz wait for that one!! Then probablz Oktoberfest on Thursdaz.
Sorrz I have not loaded photos but this place does not allow it. As soon as I can I will. I have some fun ones.
We are all well just reallz reallz tired.

hi everyone

miss all of you...on towards Austria tomorrow. we are anxious to be "on our own". everything is closed on sundays. very hard for us to stay up with all of the rules. hope hockey is going good, connor and tori i hope school is smooth and you have 10 new friends. kevin, i miss you lots and canät wait to have coffee with you in the back room. kisses and hugs. mom
