Getting Ready to Go to Germany!

Still in the USA!

This is my first entry on our travel blog. I wanted to test it out to be sure its working and to make sure all our friends and family can access it. We can post our daily tours along with photos!

In case you didn't know Mom, Sandy, Brenda, Linda, Nichole, Rachel and David (my hubby)are leaving on Sept 9th for Mainz Germany. We will be there a total of 2 weeks. The first week in the Mainz area the second week in the Munich area.

We are looking forward to a vacation of a lifetime! We have a very full agenda prepared and we hope that we can even do half of it! A couple different areas we hope to see besides Germany are Salzburg, Austria & Prague, Czech Republic. My friend & wine tasting buddy Huberta from Twin Falls, ID. Will also be in the Mainz area the same time so we hope to hook up with her for a wine tasting tour on the Rhine River!

David and I also met a very nice couple (Hans & Christa) from the Munich area. They were RVing the western part of the USA and we met them at Craters of The Moon in August. We hope to hook up with them the 2nd week for a great time in Munich. Remember it will be Oktoberfest while we are there! Roll Out The Barrel!!

We should all have Internet access the first week, we will probably use Internet Cafe's the second week. We will all try to post as often as we can via this blog so check it often.

You guys have a BLAST! I am so jealous! Get fat on beer, wine and saurkraut and don't give Americans too bad of a name, I want to go there someday too! Tell Nichole to watch out for mimes and umbrellas :)

Everything is okay so far! ha ha Shadow threw up again, that was kind of special. I figure it was my welcome. But no snakes, thank God! Anyway, have way too much fun. Brenda dont forget to write a message to Brad. And everyone that is sending blogs......I think you better put your name on your comments, it looks like because you are entering from Sandy's account it will automatically put her name. So, they know who is sending blogs, might be a good idea to write your name after your comment.....

I found them i found them!!!!!! just got a call from nichole everything is fine they made it with no problemos. they are having a great time it sounds like. they don't have internet access where they are staying so they haven't been able to get on line and post. as soon as they go to one of the bigger towns they are going to get on and let us know wasssssuuuupppp!!! so everyone can take off the resperator and breath normally now. make sure you keep posting and give them a hard time!!! hahahahahah
